This course begins with a light-hearted discussion of time and reveals how the “now” is scientifically immeasurable. It also reveals to us that we are unintentional experts at change, and we find out how to apply this skill to the development our consciousness.  We address situations that are likely to arise, both from within and without, when we become interested in becoming more aware. In this course, fear of change is shown to be an indication of  our preparedness for it, and we discover that the suffering that we experience often results from  our unwillingness to embrace opposition as a sign of direction. Depression is shown to be a common response to the invitation that we are already ready to change.  In this course we are offered an opportunity to abandon emotional and psychological struggling because we see that often it takes more energy to pretend we are happy than it does to let go of unnecessary anguish. In this course, we discover how our words have tremendous power—far beyond that which we might normally assume. We learn that our day-to-day conversations either degrade or evolve the level of our awareness; therefore they have a profound influence on our destiny. We also see that we unintentionally choose words that keep us separated from happiness.
